# Reeds Rains branches raising money for their local communities

We are delighted to be involved with Cash for Kids again this year and as usual our Reeds Rains branches are coming up with plenty of ways to raise as much money as possible. Last year the teams raised over £27,000 which we are looking to smash this year.

![Cash For Kids Day 2022 Logo](https://www.reedsrains.co.uk/uploads/blog_post/12_936_s.jpg?v=112621) Lots of our branches and central teams are taking part in the 5k a Day in May challenge including Chesterfield, Holmes Chapel, Rhyl, our 3 Teesside branches Guisborough, Middlesbrough and Stockton, Selby, Plaistow, Brockley and our branches in Northern Ireland. Not only are branches getting involved in the 5k a Day in May challenge, but the Reeds Rains marketing team have also been walking, cycling, and running 5k a day as has our Reeds Rains Managing Director Oliver Blake.

Some of our teams have come up with some additional fundraising activities like Myles our Cheadle Branch Manager – he is completing a 100-mile bike ride around some of the Reeds Rains branches in the North West, Tallulah from Holmes Chapel is doubling up and completing not just 5k a day but an impressive 10k a day.

We’ve also got the team in Morley climbing Scarfell Pike and Halifax are taking on an inflatable obstacle course both in June.

And so many other branches are doing bake sales, raffles, dressing up, tombolas, name the teddy plus many more great things to raise as much money for disadvantaged children in their local areas as they can.

If you want to support any of our branches, visit their branch page and donate via the link.
