The new manager of a city centre estate agent says the office has had its best result for more than two years and there is no sign of business slowing down.
Hugh Taylor, who was appointed to the Reeds Rains Hanley office in Piccadilly five weeks ago, says that a report from industry analysts at vizzihomes who number crunch sales data, shows that the branch did at least three times as many sales as most other rivals in the period between mid-May and mid-June.

Hugh says "We have had the best four-week rolling period result here for more than two years. It certainly shows that Reeds Rains is doing many more times more sales than the majority of our rivals and we are doing it across the board too.
"We are selling everything from top end houses in an area such as Werrington to cheaper properties around the £40,000 mark in somewhere like Cobridge"
Hugh is quick to praise his team too, saying "These results are about us being extremely proactive and driving the market. Selling housees is not just about having the best brochures, it is about doing the job right and that is what we have been doing here. It's not down to me arriving five weeks ago, it's the staff. My job is to make sure that everything is in place to give them the tools they need and they are delivering the results. There are a lot of vendors who are glad to have marketed their properties through us."
