The appeal of the high street agent

Reeds Rains estate and lettings agents has announced the refurbishment of its office in Formby, which has been updated with a modern new look, making it more appealing to visitors.

The refurbishment follows research which highlights the importance of face to face interactions when buying and selling property which the new office now supports.* It provides new furnishings and areas for people to talk to professionals about a range of property related topics in an attractive environment.

Peter Edwards, branch manager for Reeds Rains Formby says: “We absolutely love it when customers come to see us and the refurbished office provides the ideal place for us to help our customers who pop in to the branch for a range of reasons.

A popular feature bringing people in is the custom made wallpaper of asparagus farmer Jimmy Lowe which has been introduced as part of the refurbishment.

The statue of Jimmy Lowe has been carved out of wood with a chain saw by Formby based wood sculptor Simon Archer who, after passing by the branch, was delighted to see his work feature on the wall of Reeds Rains which is becoming a local hit with the residents of Formby.

Another appealing element of our agency is that we provide strong online presence, local knowledge and a personal touch, which are essential in securing the best service and best price for the customer. For example, not only do our properties appear online through property portal rightmove, which attracted a record 1.3 billion visits to the portal in 2015,** but customers can also feel reassured that a genuinely interested agent will be available to provide answers to any questions they have.”
