West Midlands property prices are up 3.3% year on year
House prices in the West Midlands were up 3.3% year on year in June according to the LSL House Price Index. The house price increases are led by a strong performance in Warwickshire, up 6.3% annually, and Herefordshire, up 4.8%.
Leicester topped growth for major cities with prices up 4.8% annually.
The average house price for the West Midlands in June was £222,304.
All regions and 70% of unitary authorities recorded annual growth in July with the average house price in England and Wales now at £302,251. July also saw the smallest difference between the highest and lowest regional growth rates for 18 years.
