Selling Or Buying A Property

Q: Should I be worried that I won’t be able to sell my property now?

A: It is understandable that you may be worried but please be assured that we are continuing to market all properties to potential buyers through our extensive online channels and through a range of other marketing methods we use.

While our branches are temporarily closed, we are still able to work remotely to support the sale of your property. Please note that it may take us longer to respond than would otherwise be the case. Please bear with us.

Q: Will the current situation lead to a reduction in interest from potential buyers?

A: We are continuing to receive enquiries from potential buyers, though these are slowing down. We will ensure that sellers will be notified of any interest and we will arrange viewings once the current restrictions end as we believe that buyers will still want to progress with a property move in a few weeks’ time. Please note that it may take us longer to respond than would otherwise be the case. Please bear with us.

Q: Are you still allowing viewings to take place in person?

A: Unfortunately, as you will appreciate to protect all our colleagues and customers and in line with the new government restrictions on movement, we are unable to conduct viewings at the current time.

In some instances we may be able to arrange a video stream or virtual viewing with the agreement of the seller. Please contact us for details using the contact details shown on our branch pages. Please note that it may take us longer to respond than would otherwise be the case. Please bear with us.

Q: On completion of my purchase, how will I be able to collect my keys as branches are closed?

A: Please use the contact details shown on our branch pages to find out what is happening with you branch. We will make arrangements on a case by case basis. Please note that it may take us longer to respond than would otherwise be the case. Please bear with us.
