Reeds Rains estate agents Timperley fronts the main Park Road and is located almost on the corner with Hawthorn Avenue where plenty of on street parking is found. We offer a comprehensive service for residential sales, lettings, and property management. The branch is very close to the local Timperley tram station being just across the road, which on foot is 200 yards on your right as you walk towards Manchester Road. By car you can approach the office either by coming through Timperley Village leaving it on Park Road and we are some three quarters of a mile along on the left side just before Hawthorn Avenue. By car you could come along Manchester Road again turning at the traffic lights onto Park Road and we are located then on the right hand side some 100 yards down from the Canal bridge/tram station.

We know Timperley

Timperley can be traced to Anglo Saxon times and from the mid-1800s it developed with the Bridgewater canal and the arrival of the railway system. Timperley was famous for its market gardens to help feed the growing City of Manchester. With the electrification of the railway line in the 1930's this helped to ensure that Timperley was the perfect place to build semi-detached and detached houses. Today, Timperley is still mostly made up of detached and semi-detached houses from that period. Prior to this the area was made up of cottages, small holdings and market gardens. Some of these cottages still exist today although most have now given way to the redevelopment from the 1930s era.
