How our Landlord Portal helps you stay on top of your investment

One of the things that concerns some landlords when they use an agent to let and manage their property, is that they don’t know exactly what’s going on with their investment from day to day.

And while many find it something of a relief to have professionals handling their let - dealing with the tenancy and organising property maintenance and repairs on their behalf - there are still times when they want and need to know certain pieces of information, particularly when it comes to accounting and completing tax returns.

At Reeds Rains, our landlords can access all the information about their let online, 24/7, via our Landlord//Portal.  This allows you to monitor all aspects of your property investment, including:

  • Upcoming & previous viewings, while the property is being marketed
  • Tenancy commencements – track every stage of the progress of a new tenant’s application, from the receipt of a holding fee, through reference approval, to the tenancy agreement being signed
  • Current tenancy details – including the check out process when it ends, as well as details of all previous tenancies
  • Property maintenance - view both reported and completed repairs
  • Monthly statements for all your properties – these can be viewed and downloaded, making it easy for you to access the information you need for your self-assessment returns.

If you need to speak to or email someone, our extensive contacts section helps you get to the right specialist straight away. And if you’re just accessing information, you can do so at a time that’s convenient for you, whether that’s in or outside branch opening hours.

If you already have properties with us, you can log on to your RR//Online account via the website, and new landlords will automatically receive an email with instructions on how to access the portal.

The portal functions in a similar way to an app and has been developed specifically for mobile phones. Simply save the portal homepage to your mobile phone screen, then you can click on the icon and log on in the same way as you would an app.

If you have any further questions, you can find your local lettings branch here. Simply drop in, phone us or email. And if you are considering buying a new investment property or switching agents, we’d love to show you how the system works and how it can support you to let properties legally and safely.
