Reeds Rains estate agency staff have been officially classed as Superheroes following their success in raising more than £28,000 in support of charity initiative, Cash for Kids.
The news follows the efforts of Reeds Rains staff in taking part in a number of fundraising events which culminated in their participation in a dedicated Cash for Kids’ Superhero Day – which the agency sponsored.
Staff joined other fundraisers in dressing up for the day as Superheroes whilst taking part in activities such as sponsored bikeathons, rowathons, football matches as well as holding cake sales, car boot sales and much more. As a result of Reeds Rains’ efforts the charity, which runs across 21 Cash for Kids sites - each supported by local radio stations - managed to secure more than £270,000 in funds with monies raised locally staying within the local community.
