Young footballers score – thanks to Reeds Rains

Reeds Rains estate and lettings agents is pleased to be supporting the local talent of the Guisborough Town Football Club under 14’s boys team by officially sponsoring their kit which has renewed optimism in the team and has prevented the club from closing.

The sponsorship is part of the Reeds Rains drive to support the local community and create greater links with it.

Guisborough Town Football Club finished the previous season in the lowest division of the junior league and has struggled with many of their better players moving to higher division teams. But this has not stopped determined parents of the players coming together to form a formidable team to provide the under 14 year old boys of Guisborough the opportunity to continue to play football.

Zeta Pinchbeck Branch Manager for Reeds Rains Guisborough and mum of successful Centre Back Scott Pinchbeck secured the sponsorship from Reeds Rains estate and lettings agency and have provided a smart new bright red strip which has replaced the out of date kit which many of the team have out grown.

Andrew Middlemiss, Team Manager for Guisborough Town Football Club under 14’s boys says: “We now have renewed optimism – squad numbers are on the up and the performances are definitely improving. The boys are delighted with and proud to wear the new strip.
We are over the moon to have the vital support of Reeds Rains – it is great to see a local business supporting local young people. Playing competitive sport provides the boys with opportunities to develop team work skills, maintain fitness and other vital life skills such as commitment, determination, the desire to succeed and building relationships.
None of this would be possible without the support of Reeds Rains.”
