Morley is a historic market town and civil parish within the City of Leeds in West Yorkshire. It lies approx five miles south-west of Leeds City Centre and is made of Morley North and Morley South. The town of Morley is built on seven hills, these been Scatcherd Hill, Dawson Hill, Daisy Hill, Chapel Hill, Hunger Hill, Troy Hill and Banks Hill.

Morley has a very interesting history and has proven to be a rather sought after location for both business and residence for many years. It is the birth town of comedian Ernie Wise and on 21st February 2010 a statue was erected outside Morley Post Office and unveiled by his widow, Doreen. Beryl Burton, OBE was an English racing cyclist from Morley and dominated women’s cycle racing in the UK, winning more than 90 domestic championships and seven world titles, and setting numerous national records.  Most recently showed the opening of the new JD Wetherspoon pub 'The Picturehouse' at a cost of £1.7m on 2nd December 2014 which created 50 jobs and on 25th June 2012 the Olympic Torch paused at Morley Academy on its tour of Britain ahead of the London Olympic Games 2012.

Morley Town Hall is used at times for music recordings and the television programmes Emmerdale and Heartbeat have used its disused magistrates court and the cobblestoned street to one side. It hosts concerts by local schools and performances by the Morley Amateur Operatic Society, whose pantomines have taken place at the Alexandra Hall for many years.

Morley annually holds one of the largest St Georges Day parades in the country and has been named 'the most patriotic town of England.'

The town of Morley offers local amenities for residents offering a large Morrisons supermarket and also a 24 hour ASDA superstore. Scatcherd Park is in the centre of Morley by the side of Morley Leisure Centre and has a large playing field, skate park, children's park, bowling green and memorial gardens. There are also numerous primary schools and three secondary schools within the area.

As one of Morley's most popular sales and lettings agents Reeds Rains offers a selection of properties which will appeal to all budgets, from first time buyers up to people looking to upsize.
