I write as both buyer and seller having bought my house through Reads Rains in December 2014 and sold it, also through them, in August 2025. I decided to sell my house in order to live abroad with family. I chose Reads Rains because they were so helpful the first time around. I have not been disappointed. They are still trustworthy and fair towards buyers and sellers alike. Also friendly and generous with their time, and considerate of the effects on people of moving house. Clark did the initial survey, valuation and publicity. It was all very professional and quickly resulted in a sale. At this point Jamie took over the handling of the sale. Selling a house and moving abroad at the same time can be extremely stressful but Jamie responded immediately to potential problems. Always there with good advice, support and kindness, I came to completely rely on her for peace of mind.
